Writing Challenge

November is a big month for writing challenges. National Novel Writing Month occurs, challenging writers to produce 50K words within the month. I myself signed up for this. However, that's a lot, especially considering the holiday season. But I also find my writing takes a dive during the holidays which is a pity because it also a time where some kind of anchor can really help with stress.

So I'm setting up a challenge for the month. Write 15K words for the month. This averages about 500 words a day. Two pages. Whether you write everyday is up to you, but the goal is 15K words by November 30. I'm hoping this accomplishes two things: keeps us writing and forces us to take some time during the busy season to for ourselves doing something we love.

Sign up by November 1st. And if you are doing NaNoWriMo, you can count those pages as well. We'll try to have some fun during the month as well.
